The Teens Count Youth Choir Explosion 2021 Competition will enhance the gospel music ministry through encouraging youth participation, and giving every group a chance to SHINE and to lift HIS name on high. Grand prizes will be announced soon and include artist development packages, cash, and more!

This is a high-impact event with special guest performances, workshops, artist meet and greets, and exciting vendor opportunities.

Guidelines For Participation

– Minimum number of members = 10 / Maximum number of members = 35
– Choirs should consist of singers who are aged 9-20 years. No exceptions.
– Choirs should not include any members who are Teens Count staff – or closely related to a member of staff or anyone connected to this competition.
– The Choir must be affiliated with a school, church, or religious organization… and must rehearse as a “group” regularly – known as a choir.
– Choir must perform church/gospel genre music
– Neither the choir, nor any of its members, may be party to an existing music/ recording contract.
– Each Choir must have a designated representative to be the spokesperson on behalf of the Choir – and responsible for the submission of all information and documentation.
– Each participating Choir is required to sell a minimum of (35) Tickets to the Competition. General admission tickets will be priced at $30 (inclusive of taxes and fees)
